PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project’s goal was to select twelve items or photos that meet the required categories. The challenge was to accurately render each one using both marker and colored pencil to make the rendering appear photo realistic.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project explores creating a realistic interior by replicating the view using rendering techniques. These techniques included using both market and colored pencil.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project included selecting an intricate doorway on Florida State University's campus and creating it in AutoCAD. This included going to the site, taking photos and measurements, and accurately drawing it to scale. The door selected for the project was Eppes Hall.
Eppes Hall, which serves as the Criminology and Criminal Justice building on FSU campus, was originally constructed in 1918. It was the fifth building that was constructed for Florida State Women's College. It serves as a historical landmark adjacent to Wescott Plaza. The south facade contains the Great Seal of the State of Florida and shield-bearing amphibians among its detailed brick and stonework.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project includes two levels of a commercial office building designed for a local business owned by the client, Mrs. Smith. The first floor includes the desired office spaces whereas the second floor has been build-out in preparation for expansion. The project focuses on construction documentation and communication of design intent. It also implements the building delivery process by including floor plans, reflected ceiling plants, sections, elevations, custom millwork designs, and other design features that are necessary to express design ideas to the other team members.
LOCATION: Tallahassee, Florida
PROJECT SIZE: 17,500 Sq. Ft.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project was designed to serve as a bookcase in an eleventh grade classroom at Florida State School. It was inspired by the book, "Our Eyes Were Watching God." It will be utilized as a bookshelf to hold both textbooks and chapter books within the academic environment in which it is placed.

The design of the bookcase is inspired by the book “Their Eyes Were Watching God”. It represents the concept of growth. Like the protagonist of the story, Janice, the students of the 11th grade class in which this bookcase will be placed will also begin to experience a time of growing. The bookcase has been designed in the shape of a tree to represent this notion of growth. The branches reach outward to show that the tree is still growing and striving towards its full potential.

After deciding on the concept, several tree shapes were explored. It is important to consider both visual and physical weight of the books, as well as the core strength of the bookshelf as a whole.

The final product will be an additional storage piece inside the classroom setting for years to come, serving as a reminder to the students to be true to oneself and to embrace this time of change.
